2019-2020

  • The Samaritan Center ceased activity at the start of COVID in 2020.
     

  • Hired to evaluate multiple aspects of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides physical, mental, and emotional health programs for adults who are Medicaid eligible in the Monroe County area
     

  • Reviewed budgets, staff evaluations, funding opportunities, grant compliance, housing regulations, marketing activities, etc. Met with Grant Executives regularly to review findings.
     

  • Managed the Board Grant Committee and Finance Committee to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. 
     

  • Planned and hosted staff meetings during transitions, established policies and procedures, investigated reports, and created a Center calendar to centralize scheduling and deadline expectations.
     

  • Met with organization partners to ensure all agreements and contracts were updated and in compliance. 
     

  • Rebrand the website and social media accounts to enhance brand awareness and created posting expectations.

2018-2019

  • Managed Enriched Housing Programs for 28 elderly residents of low income with disabilities ranging from developmental, addictions, and terminal illnesses, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. 
     

  • Worked with NYS Department of Health, Rochester Housing Authority, local shelters, hospitals, and churches.
     

  • Managed a $450k+ budget and assisted residents to apply for personal grants.
     

  • Hired, trained, and mentored up to 10 employees (i.e Kitchen Aides, Case Managers, Maintenance Workers)
     

  • Handled intakes, orientations, and referrals as well as provided counseling and crisis response as needed. 
     

  • Ensured all case management files and reporting were accurate and up-to-date. Communicated with residents on their personal medical and Social Security paperwork and appointments, acting as their advocate as needed.
